Julia A. Tappan writes to Anne Warren Weston in regards to thanking her for her letter and her copy of "Right & Wrong, No.3." She discusses plans that were formed by the board of her society in the winter for more union among the different female societies in this city. There are five such societies, the fifth one formed among the Friends. She gives her opinion of the people in regards to the upcoming Convention. They have expressed a hope that it will be strictly an anti-slavery convention. Tappan discusses her religious convictions in relation to the Convention. She has seen Mrs. Cox who has been ill but she expects Anne and Mrs. Chapman to stay with her when they are in New York. The second sheet is a receipt for a payment of $75 from Alanson St. Clair.
