The Progressive Friends' meetings ended on June 10 after six days of ninety degree temperatures. George Thompson was too sick to take part in the proceedings. Thompson is going to visit Thomas and Paulina Davis soon. There were many bad thunderstorms in Longwood during the meetings. Garrison is to visit Bayard Taylor, and he gives his itinerary. Garrison has faith in Dr. Dow's medical treatment of Helen Eliza Garrison using electric and magnetic therapy
